About Me

My name is Jean Tunis. I have been analyzing the performance of applications and networks for over 16 years. I started my own consultancy, RootPerformance, in 2015 to help companies do the same.

Before that, I spent 9+ years at OPNET Technologies and then Riverbed Technology (Riverbed acquired OPNET in 2013) as a performance consultant working on various client projects from troubleshooting application problems to testing applications for data center migration plans.

I also spent almost 7 years in similar roles at JP Morgan Chase, AT&T, and IBM in New York, NY.

Along the way, I picked up a Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering at New Jersey Institute of Technology, adding to a Bachelors Degree in the same field from Rutgers University (RU baby!) with a concentration in wired and wireless communications.

I live and work in Orlando, FL metro area.
